Crazy Maddy

Madison is obsessed with taking pictures! The problem is they're mostly of herself!A close second would be taking pictures of her stuffed animals in funny locations. These, I have to admit are stinkin' hilarious. Anyway, this year for Christmas she got her own camera, with her own memory card, that dumps to her own folder. When you catch a glimpse at them, you'll see why this was good for me. I mean I love 'er, but after taking about 225 pictures of herself with silly faces, it kinda stopped being funny :) okay so maybe it didn't....

This is an acrylic painting I did last semester. The assignment was to show movement, rhythm, and at least three focal points.

This is my latest finished watercolor, (Actually the finished one looks a little better, I took this picture to show my mom before it was completed) One of the things I've learned this year is that Watercolor is a lot harder than it looks!

Right now I'm working on a watercolor with Maddy and Ethan in it, Here's my drawn value sketch for it (notice, I'm not ready for faces yet) I'm so excited for this one, let you know how it turns out!

This one's kinda weird, I had to create a self portrait of myself using only the characters on a keyboard. So look closly to find the numbers and letters. (just a few -- The bottom of my nose is a sideways question mark, with a "r" below that as a laugh line. On the other laugh line I used a seven. Can you see what my eyelashes are? crazy stuff...

When we watch this video, we can't stop laughing! It was halloween 2005 and I was trying to film Madison flying off the couch in her flamingo costume. Ethan kept getting in the way, so I'd have to stop the camera and try again. Finally I asked Ethan what the heck he was doing!...

I'm officially cool, I have a blog. I shouldn't mention that I only recently learned what blogs were. But thanks to my friend Vanessa, I can now say things like, "Hey, you should check out my blog!" Well, Well, Well... where to begin

Well, As the title mentions, things are crazy around here. But we wouldn't have it any other way. The kids are getting so big, Madison is 9 and Ethan is 7. I would like to post a family picture, but it's pretty rare that we're all together at the same time. The kids are the cute part anyway, Just picture Raul and I how you rembember us ... just chubbier!
